BIO

Hi, I’m Wyatt Ginter, a film director from the small town of Pateros, Washington. My love for filmmaking started with old movies like The Three Stooges, which first inspired me to pursue acting. But as I got older, I realized I wanted more creative control—so I set my sights on directing.

Growing up off-grid shaped me in ways that set me apart from my generation. I watched movies on VHS, didn’t own a video game console until I was 16, and got my first phone and car at 18. Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace was the first film that completely blew me away. The lightsabers, the fight scenes—it was a whole new world, and I knew I wanted to create something just as captivating.

After high school, I joined the Army to figure out my next steps. When I came out, I decided to pursue filmmaking seriously and enrolled in college to refine my skills. I love turning real-life moments—especially the ridiculous or funny ones—into stories with a little creative exaggeration. On set, I work hard, keep the energy up, and make quick decisions to keep things moving. Above all, I believe filmmaking should be fun, and I strive to create an environment where everyone feels engaged and inspired.
